SeniorLauncher requires specific device permissions solely to provide its core features:

• Phone & SMS: Used strictly to instantly dial contacts when tapping a photo tile or trigger emergency SOS calls and dispatch alerts.
• Location Data (GPS): Accessed only when the SOS emergency alarm is manually triggered, used to generate a Google Maps link for your emergency contacts.
• Emergency Contacts: Names and phone numbers you input for speed-dial tiles and SOS alerts are stored locally and securely on your device.
• Weather Data: If active, the app makes anonymous network requests to third-party services (Open-Meteo and BigDataCloud) to fetch localized weather without sharing identifiable information.

2. How We Use This Information

Data accessed during an SOS event is used exclusively to send an automated emergency email containing your location directly to your designated contacts. We do not store, log, or read your GPS coordinates or contacts on our servers at any time.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Emergency emails are processed securely through trusted infrastructure providers (such as Postmark) strictly for the immediate delivery of notifications.

1. Meaning of "Lifetime" License

When you purchase SeniorLauncher as a one-time "Lifetime" deal, this grants you the right to use the app and receive updates for the commercial and technical lifespan of the product. The term "Lifetime" refers exclusively to the lifecycle of the software, and does not refer to the biological lifetime of the purchaser or the user.

2. OS Compatibility and Android Updates

SeniorLauncher is developed and tested to function optimally with the Android versions supported at the time of your purchase. Because Google and device manufacturers continuously alter the Android ecosystem (including security policies and battery optimizations), we cannot guarantee eternal compatibility. We disclaim liability if future Android updates, hardware changes, or Google Play policy shifts cause the app to lose functionality, require manual re-configuration, or become incompatible.

3. Provided "As-Is"

SeniorLauncher is provided "as is" without guarantees that it will operate entirely error-free across all available Android devices. While the core objective of the app is to provide a reliable, stress-free experience, we cannot be held financially or legally liable for lost data, missed calls, failed emergency SOS deliveries, or other consequences arising from software bugs, third-party apps, or operating system interference.

4. Right to Discontinue (Sunset Clause)

We reserve the right to discontinue maintenance, support, and distribution of SeniorLauncher at any time if it is no longer technically, economically, or legally feasible to maintain. In the event of discontinuation, you may continue to use the version of the app already installed on your device (subject to OS constraints), but no further updates will be issued and the purchase price will not be refunded.
