💡 Built out of necessity
SeniorLauncher wasn't developed by a massive tech company in Silicon Valley. It started as a personal project for my own parents.
As a night shift worker in the hotel industry, I rely on being able to sleep during the day. At the same time, I desperately needed the peace of mind knowing my family could always reach me if something happened.
The problem? Standard smartphones are simply too easy to mess up. I kept waking up to frantic calls about the "screen disappearing," the volume being accidentally muted to zero, or important apps vanishing entirely. I needed a solution that made the phone as mistake-proof as possible—so they felt safe, and I could sleep soundly.
When I couldn't find a reliable alternative on the market, I decided to build SeniorLauncher myself.

My name is Jon, and I am based in Norway. I run and develop SeniorLauncher entirely on my own.
Because I manage this project alongside my regular job, I have put all my effort into making the app as flawless, secure, and self-explanatory as humanly possible, so that it "just works" right out of the box. Every feature is engineered to prevent the exact mistakes I saw my own parents struggle with.
